The St. George Ravens operate with a clear commitment: putting players first. As proud members of the GMHL, we believe in creating an environment where athletes can grow, compete, and thrive — regardless of where they are in their hockey journey.

While the GMHL is often seen as a second-chance league — especially for players working toward opportunities at the NCAA or U Sports levels — it also serves as a strong development platform for younger talent looking to take the next step.

What sets the Ravens apart is our emphasis on stability and trust.  We do not cut or trade players mid-season unless required for disciplinary reasons or if a move clearly benefits both the team and the individual.  We believe that jumping from team to team hinders development and can disrupt a player’s focus and confidence.

Our approach is rooted in open communication and long-term growth.  From coaching staff to management and ownership, every level of our organization is accessible to players, creating a transparent and supportive environment that fosters progress — on and off the ice.

Beyond hockey, the St. George Ravens are deeply community minded.  Our players and staff actively volunteer at the St. George Legion, and the team proudly takes part in local events such as Applefest and the annual Santa Claus Parade.  These connections strengthen our bond with the community and reflect the values we strive to instill in every Raven — leadership, respect, and service.
